"I can't recommend Angore Cafe and Bar enough! I've had the pleasure of trying their coffee, Turkish breakfast, and Turkish/Mediterranean dinners, and everything has been exceptional. The coffee is expertly brewed, the Turkish breakfast is a feast for the senses with so many fresh and flavorful components, and their dinner menu offers some of the best Mediterranean dishes around. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great place to start your day or end your evening."

The pastry is soft and flaky, resembling a scroll with layers that hold the spiced meat filling. The meat filling is crumbly yet reduced, with no excess liquid, giving it a firm, fine texture. It’s aromatic and flavorful, with a bolder spice profile, offering a unique textured experience. The burek doesn’t need sauce and feels more wholesome than hearty. I read that Europeans often eat these for breakfast, and I can see why—it’s a satisfying, protein-packed option that won’t leave you feeling overly full. There's also a vegetarian option, which I’m excited to try next time!"

"I came here today for lunch with my family for the first time and we loved it! The air-conditioning was so refreshing on this boiling hot day. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The food was absolutely delicious, my kids loved their milkshakes. The place has a lovely ambience and feel to it, and the baclava was just the icing on the cake. We will definitely be back!"
